Property History:
Back in the early 1900’s the Blackall Range was a sugar cane & citrus growing community. The produce was transported by steam strain down the Blackall Range from Mapleton to Nambour. The train line was in part located at the rear of the current house. The water for the train was sourced from the spring that still flows through the property. The Namma family lived on the property and grew a variety of vegetables where the house now sits. These vegetables were transported by the steam train to Nambour where they were sold. The rich soil and ample water has enabled the very extensive garden to be established over the last 30 years.
